Eat like a king pay like a pauper - budget meals out

Just because you don't want to pay huge quantities of cash does not mean you should restrict yourself to crappy food at your local fast food vendor.
In these articles I review restaurants where you can get quality food and not have to fork out more than you need to (pun intended).

Today I will be reviewing gourmet burger kitchen - Windsor branch.

Food quality - 4/5 F's
there are seldom other burgers that I have found that taste so good. Like most burger restaurants they boast 100% pure beef, but unlike the rest of them they also taste like 100% pure beef.
The meat melts in your mouth and, trust me, you will need a bib, the burger melts in your mouth. The vegetables used are fresh and crisp which creates a fantastic contrast in the texture of the burger.

Side dishes are a wee bit on the overpriced side but are not necessary as the Burger alone is more than enough to satisfy you insatiable appetite, saying that the quality of the side dishes are to par, they are not the restaurant's top selling point but they are nice if you are feeling that extra bit hungry.

Drinks - 3.5 F's

Apart from your average cola, lemonade est selection GBT have a small beer and wine selection though it's nothing to go crazy over.
The best drinks they have to offer are the milkshakes, my favourite being the Oreo shake. The texture is not to thick that you go blue in the face trying to drink the stuff and... Well, I can't think of a good analogy for a milkshake being too watery.
I found myself, after finishing my burger, fishing out bits Oreo out of my cup with my straw, sorry to go on about Oreos but I really like them.

Value - 3.5 F's
For a about £15 per adult you can get a burger and a drink, I know that does not sound like allot but the burgers are satisfying enough. Buying the cheapest items on the menu you are looking at about £10 per adult.

Atmosphere 4/5 F's
The restaurant is situated next to the old railway station, the exterior has a comfortable old town feel. The interior is far from lacking, Its has modern interesting designs, my favourite being the far wall which glows with smooth changing warm lights.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and have always greeted me with a smile when I have gone in there. Usually I do not appreciate it when the water asks you in the middle of your meal if "everything it okay" but going into GMT I don't mind.

Summary 4/5 F's
The food is enjoyable to eat though the portions are small, it is filling and satisfying.
Buying the cheapest items on the menu you are looking at about £10 per adult.
The restaurant has an excellent and welcoming feel to is and the location and decoration is pleasing to the eye.
